Happy Fathers Day!

Today was just another typical Fathers Day for my family. The one thing that I did regreat though was waking up at 1 in the after noon. My mom said she was going to wake me up to help her make breakfast for dad! I went to bed at about 3:15 last night. Me and my mom didn't get my dad a card or a gift for him!! So at 2 AM, my dad went to sleep. Finally! Me and my mom were waiting for him to sleep just so that we could go and get him a gift. We drive to Wal-Mart and of course, as usual, I see Crystal! I see her everytime I go to Wal-Mart. It's like she lives there or something. I see her every single time! But we go in and me and mom split up. She's getting breakfast for tomorrow, and I go and find a card for dad. I walk over to the cards, and most of the Fathers Day cards are gone! Not even envelopes. There are these 3 teenagers there, one of them was totally gay, I could tell from him jumping up and down and how much he resembled a girl when he did it! hehe It was funny. While I was looking, I was eaves dropping and listening to their conversations, and then these 2 girls came up from out of no where, one of them got a card, read it and then SCREAMED OUT LOUD!!,"OH MY GOD KASSIE THIS CARD IS PERFECT!!! WE'RE SO GETTING IT!! OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!! LET'S GO KASSIE!! IT'S PERFECT....OH MY GOD!" She screamed so loud I jumped and started to chuckle. She looked at me then went,"OhMY GOD!" one more time then left. Me and those 3 teenagers looked at each other and we started laughing. But I was still eaves dropping with those kids. I had nothing else better to do, I already found the card I wanted, I just had to wait for mom. But They opened up a card that made sound when you opened it, it was country. There were 2 boys and one girl. One of the boys opened the card, listened to the song, and then the girl slammed it shut and said,"We live in Ogden, we don't listen to country." then she started laughing. And I started laughing too, and we looked at each other and started laughing at each other. Then they went to the other side to look at Birthday cards. I had fun listening to them.

Mom finally got there after what felt like forever, and now she had to find a card. She got the first card she saw and loved it. We started to walk away, and then she said,"I should get a card for Tony huh?" I said,"Isn't that what that card is?!" She said,"No this is for Grandpa Tony!" We started laughing and she turned around to find a card for dad. She spent about 10 minutes trying to find a card while I just sat there with the basket. I started walking around that area and tried on some really good lotion that made my hands soft. ((I want to buy it now.)) This whole time I'm humming and singing very quietly, "Up" and "Chasing Lights" by The Saturdays. Walking around looking at the candy, and lotion bottles that were there. Wal-mart seemed completely empty. It was actually a little scary. There wasn't even music or anything playing, just foot steps in a distance. You could hear the cards opening and closing as people try and find a good Happy Fathers Day card for somebody they just remembered. Mom finally got a card for my dad, and now we had to think of a gift to get him. So we went to the movie section, Mom wanted to get him Gran Torino. I told her maybe the movie Taken will be better, because he really likes that movie. So we get there and mom is trying to find the video Taken. I go off and look at the fancy At&t phones. I really need a new one. Or at least one that can have better quality videos!! They were really nice, but they were just the fake display ones. We found the movie and then we headed home after we bought everything. It was 2:49 when we got home, and me and mom were exhausted. We had a long day visiting Grandma Viola at the hospital that day. She's doing a lot better though, she went home today! So that's good.

Mom and I go to bed, I wake up at 1 in the afternoon. I went upstairs to eat the breakfast that mom made for dad that morning. It was in the fridge and it was already cold. She must have woken up early! But It was really good. But while I'm eating, mom says,"Are you ready?" I said FOR WHAT?! "We're going to Grandpa's for Fathers Day" She didnt' tell me that! If I would have known we were going to be late for Grandpa Tony's house I would have gotetn a smaller serving! So I just put wrap around my food and we left. Dad didn't go of course, he never gets involved with the family parties at my mom's. He really pisses me off sometimes. Mom has done so much for his family and he doesn't do that much at all for hers. He always says,"It'll just be drama", "You Dad will start talking about depressing things", "I don't want to see Trudy" He's such an ass sometimes. I asked him if he was going to grandpa's and he put a look on his face that was like a "Are you serious?" look. I gave him a bad look but I changed it really fast because I didn't want to start an argument with him, It was Fathers Day. So I just walked away and got in the car. Kind of sad I'm talking about him like this one HIS day ya know? But he won't change. I'll just have to live with it. I'm a jerk! ugh..

My mom and I get to grandpa's. I love the family parties on my mom's side. My dad's side doesn't ever throw any parties, but my mom's are the best. Everyone is so positive and they always have something to talk about. Gossip, family,...Davids girlfriend, the kids, just stuff like that! They never get boring. But I ate so much there! I pigged out, Ugh!! It was so good though...hmmm..I loved that chocolate cake with the creamy pudding layer in it. It was delicious. I went inside and hung out with Mya, Marcel, Emma, Jasmine, Anescia, and Johnny. We were all watching Gran Torino, I watched bits and pieces of it. I was never interested in watching it, but I watched a little bit of it and now I want to see the whole thing!! I really liked it. ut now was the time to go home. We got home and gave my dad the beer that my mom bought at the store after we went to grandpa's, it was around 7 PM now. We get home and of course my dad isn't doing anything but watching TV. He should have came with us, I'm not very happy with him sometimes. We sit down and watch TV for the rest of the night. I got up for a drink and saw Taken on the counter. I put it in and we started watching it for a while. I've been texting Brock a lot! We decided we're going to be best friends and paint each others nails! But I don't know about the whole painting nails part. He's been texting me a lot lately! I'll put him in my top texters list! Woot Woot! Go Brock you made it.

Mom and Dad got sleepy and went to bed, I came downstairs and started typing on here. But nothing at all planned tomorrow. I'm thinking I might drive down to Spoon Me and get some yogurt. GAH! Guess what? I bought a sticker for my car and it says, "Spoon Me" :O Isn't that just amazing! My dad hasn't seen it yet. Muah hahahaha! I wonder what he'll do. I love that place! Oh wait I can't go tomorrow. I told Brock I'd buy him some, he's a poor broke boy. :( Not really. But I said I would! so I have to save my money for that. GAH! I want some, I've been craving it for a couple days. I'll probably ask if I can hang with Victoria tomorrow and maybe we'll have a movie day! We love those. :D We'll just see what happens.
